Every region of India has it’s own festivals and Durga Puja is one the festivals that is celebrated with great grandeur and fervour in Kolkata & West Bengal. Though Durga Puja is celebrated throughout India what you witness in Kolkata is something magical and different. To immerse in this magical experience one has to visit Kolkata during Durgapuja. In Kolkata alone more than 2,500 pandals are set up, all of them unique in their own themes.
Pictures of Magnificent Pandals, beautifully sculpted Goddess Durga idols flood Social Media Platforms in India such as Instagram, Twitter. The pictures of various grand Pandals, lovely idols of Devi Durga & revellers in their colourful outfits make a beautiful picturesque. Such vivid pictures paint the festive vibes in the skies of Kolkata. These beautiful idols are sculpted by the very experienced and extremely talented sculptors and artisans of Kolkata & West Bengal.
To capture these beautiful frames is the tremendous work, effort and the creativity of all the photographers who bring to us these beautiful visuals. This write-up of mine isn’t much of an article at all, unlike my other articles. The few pictures here are chosen by me amidst lot of pictures.
